Cold Coffee, Silver Dust and a Very Full Diary: My Run-Up to Christmas
New pieces on the bench, another Clink and Link night on 26th November, three days at Raby Castle's Christmas market, and bracelet and piercing bookings open right through to Christmas. Here's what I've been up to.
If you had visited me at home recently, you would have seen the state of my workbench. Silver offcuts everywhere, half-finished rings, a list of orders taped to the lamp and at least three mugs of coffee I made and forgot about. That can only mean one thing. Christmas is coming, and I've been making like my life depends on it.
So put the kettle on, because there's a lot to catch you up on.
Back at the bench
Most of my autumn has gone on the bit of this job I love most, which is sitting down and making. A lot of that has been the staples, the pieces you keep coming back for year after year: birth flower pendants, initial necklaces, stacking rings. I've been topping everything up so the shop and the website are well stocked before the December rush. Nothing upsets me more than telling someone on the 20th of December that the thing they wanted has sold out.
The rest of my time has gone on new designs. I've been sitting on these for a while and it's been killing me not to show you, so keep reading.

Clink and Link (and a fair bit of cheese)
We recently teamed up with the Cheese and Wine Shop and Dr Feelgood's for a Clink and Link night, and what a night it was. A glass of something nice, a bit of cheese, a room full of lovely people, and you go home with a permanent bracelet on your wrist. I can't think of a better way to spend an evening.
Thank you to everyone who came along, and a big thank you to both teams for having us. So many of you asked when the next one was, so here you go:
Next Clink and Link: Thursday 26th November, 7pm at the Cheese and Wine Shop
Bring your best friend, your sister, your mum, whoever you've been meaning to get matching bracelets with. It's a really relaxed night and the perfect way to kick off the festive season.

Raby Castle Christmas Market: 27th, 28th and 29th November
The very next morning I'll be loading up the car and heading to Raby Castle for their Christmas market. We're there all three days, Friday 27th, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th November. Raby is stunning at Christmas and it's one of my favourite places to trade, so come and find the stall, have a proper look at everything in person and say hello.
Tickets are available from Raby Castle's website, so get yours booked.
New pieces on the way
Right, this is the bit I've been dying to tell you about. A few brand new designs are coming to the collection very soon:
Adjustable rings with natural gemstones. Every stone is a little bit different, which is exactly why I love them. And because they adjust, you don't need to know anyone's ring size. Ideal for a bit of sneaky Christmas shopping.
Gold vermeil birth flower pendants. The birth flowers have been one of our most loved pieces for years, and now they're coming in gold vermeil. If you've always wanted a warmer tone, these are for you.
Starburst earrings and matching pendants. Little bursts of sparkle that catch the light every time you move. Wear them as a set or on their own.
Boho wrapped flower rings. A big, bold flower that shapes to your finger. These are a real statement piece, and I've already had to stop myself keeping the first one.
Keep an eye on the shop and our socials, because these will start landing very soon.
Bracelets and piercings right up to Christmas
Bookings for permanent bracelets and piercings are open all the way through Christmas. Treat yourself, or bring someone in as their present (much better than socks). December weekends always go first, so don't leave it too late. You can book online here.
Stuck on what to get someone?
Get them a gift card. They get to come in and choose their own treasure, and you get to cross someone off the list. Gift cards are available online or in the shop.
That's me for now. I'd better get back to the bench, these rings won't make themselves. Thank you for all your support this year, it means more than I can say. I hope to see lots of you at Clink and Link, at Raby or in the shop before the big day.
