Kids Ear Piercing Darlington

A calm, gentle first piercing — single-use sterile needle, never a gun, and hypoallergenic titanium studs. Lobes £25 single or £45 for both ears.

A first piercing done properly

A first ear piercing is a big moment, and we want it to be a happy memory. At our studio on Skinnergate in Darlington we pierce children's ears with a single-use sterile needle — never a gun. A needle makes a clean, precise opening that's gentler on the ear, and every piercing is fitted with a titanium labret that's kind to sensitive skin.

Children aged 7 to 15 are welcome with a parent or guardian, who signs the consent form on the day. We take it at your child's pace, check the placement with you both before we start, and send you home with clear aftercare advice.

Families come to us from across Darlington, Stockton, Middlesbrough, Durham and Richmond. Booking online takes a couple of minutes.

Kids Ear Piercing FAQs

What age can children have their ears pierced?
From age 7. Children aged 7–15 need a parent or guardian present to sign a consent form, and photo ID is required. From 16, no parental consent is needed.
Do you use a piercing gun?
No — never. We only use single-use sterile needles. A needle is more precise and gentler on the ear than a gun, which helps the piercing heal well.
What jewellery will my child have?
Every piercing is fitted with a hypoallergenic titanium labret as standard, which is ideal for fresh piercings and sensitive skin. Upgrades are available — just ask when you book.
Does it hurt?
There's a quick pinch that's over in a moment. We take things at your child's pace and talk them through each step so they feel in control.
How long do lobe piercings take to heal?
Usually 6–8 weeks. Keep the studs in for the whole time, clean twice a day with sterile saline, and avoid swimming pools for the first few weeks. We'll give you full aftercare advice on the day.
Can siblings or friends be pierced at the same visit?
Yes — just book a slot for each child so we have time to give everyone our full attention.

More detail in our piercing aftercare guide.
