If you've been following us for a while, you'll know that Unlocking Treasures has always been about so much more than selling jewellery — it's about creating experiences, celebrating individuality, and finding new ways to bring something special to our community in Darlington and across the North of England.
So when I say this next announcement is one I've been quietly building towards for a while… I really mean it.

💫 I'm Now a Trained & Certified Piercer

That's right — I have officially completed my piercing training and earned my certification! And honestly? I could not be more excited about what this means for Unlocking Treasures.

If you caught the Easter egg hidden in our recent announcement reel, you may have already guessed what was coming. If not — surprise! 🎉
For as long as I can remember, one of the most common questions I've been asked — at markets, events, and in the studio — has been: "Do you do piercings?" When you make and sell jewellery, it's a natural question, and it just kept coming, again and again. It felt like the universe was pointing me in a very clear direction. So I listened.
"The amount of times I've been asked if I pierce — because I make and sell jewellery — is mind blowing. It really pushed me into unlocking this new business adventure."

I cannot talk about this milestone without giving an enormous shout-out to the incredibly talented Sarah at Durham Piercings by Sarah, who trained and certified me.

Sarah is not only brilliantly skilled at her craft — she is also one of the warmest, most knowledgeable people I've had the pleasure of learning from. Her hands-on training gave me not just the technical skills, but the confidence to bring this service to life properly. Every moment of the training was invaluable, and I left feeling genuinely prepared and inspired.
